Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Kuat Dirtbag Phat 15 fat fork mount bike rack. This fork mount bike rack is going to provide simple economically priced option for carrying one fat bike.

This only works with fat bikes that have a 15 millimeter thru-axle front wheel skewer and it will accommodate bikes with standard or disc brakes. This versatile fork lock mounts to almost any flat surface such as a truck bed, trailer, or cargo carrier. And the base has, as you can see here, two holes for easy installation. I do wanna point out that hardware is not included. It is recommended that you use a quarter of an inch or six millimeter bolts or screws with washers and lock nuts for installation.

A drilling template is included, however, to help you through that installation process. Let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements and some other measurements that might prove helpful for you. Looking at the overall width, as you can see, we're sitting right at six inches wide. The overall height at the tallest point, we're sitting pretty close to 3-1/2 inches tall. And then looking at the dimensions of our base here, beginning with the width, we are sitting pretty close to 4-1/2 inches.

Line that up a little bit better for you. And then looking at the depth, sitting right at 1-3/4 inches. And then in case you were wondering about the distance center to center on those mounting holes, looks like we are lined up right at 2-5/8 inches on center. The skewer sleeve length is 150 millimeters and this has a sturdy steel construction with a black powder coat finish that's going to help ensure durability and rust resistance.
