Note: You may have to remove the Tow & Go hitch step before towing if you anticipate making tight turns or if your trailer tongue has been modified or has attachments positioned below the coupler.
Installation
Installing the Tow & Go step on a Class III or Class IV Interlock ball mount from Reese does not require the use of an adapter. Simply follow the steps below.
1. Position the hitch step faceplate underneath the ball mount.
2. Place the top plate over the ball and fit it into the depression in the faceplate.
3. Insert and tighten the provided screws.
A plastic adapter is included for use with other ball mounts, such as Class I and Class II Reese Interlock ball mounts and standard Class III and Class IV ball mounts. This adapter is designed to fill in the gaps between the top plate of the Tow & Go and the base of your hitch ball. With this adapter you can fit the top plate of the Tow & Go around a hitch ball that it would not otherwise fit around.

Bolted right on in a few minutes, the nuts are set in, so no need for a wrench on them, just the bolt.
I run without a tailgate as I put my bicycles in the back so this step is PERFECT.
I have a slide in camper, so, no tailgate.
I pull a fifth wheel, so, no tailgate.
Step on the step, then the bumper and safely into the truck.
I already had the hitch, so this bolt on step makes the costs low.
The mounting hardware was loose in shipping box. I know it's made to mount to a reese hitch, but I installed it onto a kurt hitch seems to work well and is a quality product.
We ordered the Reese hitch step RP7060200 also the ball mount DTLBM8400 it all came very quickly and in excellant condition.The producks are Better than antisapated Thank you I am completly sadisfied. The shipping Dept is very promted.

Makes it easier to get to basket on top of SUV without dirtying up the rear bumper.
9 yr. old likes to use it getting into back of vehicle.

Still works perfectly and does not interfere with trailer safety chains. Just remember to use caution when unloading an SUV or your shins will regret it.
I did purchase the easy step insert for the Reese hitch but I was not very impressed with it. After just a few uses it started to bend and we stopped using it as it felt unsafe.
Product looked good delivery was fast but the product did not stand up unfortunately
easy install on my hitch. makes reaching into rear bed easier. able to Stand on it out of the water when launching boat.

like it for ease of bed access! only problem is tight turns the trailer arm runs into step.
Awesome product - I needed a trailer hitch step unit for my 4-Wheel Camper (pop up) and this worked perfect.
Easy install, great quality. After 1 year show little sign of wear, even after daily use through rain. No rust. Helps to not back into things. :) and efficient in deterring tailgaters
Great product to leave your ball hitch in place and have a nice step up to be able to easily access the bed. Easy to install. Very sturdy. Nice to be able place both feet on the step. Ordering was quick, easy, and secure. Delivery was quicker than expected, too. I’m very happy with this product.
Seemed like a good idea at the time, but has actually caused me a bit of headache. When making very sharp turns with the trailer, the tongue will hit the step, causing it to rotate. Haven't taken it off the truck yet, but haven't really used it as much as I thought I would either.
The producer forgot that some balls don't have a hex or tabs on the side. What about balls that are completely round. The adapter doesn't seem to work with the convert a ball!

Nice step but a little fragile.
I have been looking at the difference types of steps for my pick up tail gate. I found several this step was the best one for the price.
Haven't installed yet, but I believe will perform well.
A little smaller than I expected from the pics, however it was easy to install and works as it should. etrailer shipped it fast with no issues.
Great step. Still looks good.

Still Working..havent taken it off...
Just put it on and it's ok except the gasket that came with it made it hard to get the bolts started in the nuts. If the bolts were about another 1/4 inch longer it would help. Also worried about how easy with nuts being in there little hole that someone could not just unbolt it in no time and steal it. Hope that does not happen. Still like it as for as getting in back of truck.
