Finished install looks great, but installation (for me) wasn't as easy as I was expecting. Clearances are very tight, regardless of which direction you install the long bolts (see below). I would recommend screwing the smaller bolts into the frame before attempting to mount the hitch to make them easier to screw in while you are holding the hitch in place. I installed the longer thru bolts from the outside of the car with nuts on the inside on the drivers side, and from the inside of the car to the outside on the passenger side. To me, this was the easiest way to access the nuts with the torque wrench, but it was still a pita.
Installation video says to just bend or cut the yellow tabs coming down from the bottom of the car if they are in your way. DON'T do that - an easier way to get them out of your way is to pop up the round covers within the cargo area (where the jack is stored) and unscrew the screw in there. The yellow tab will now push up out of your way and is easily pushed back in place when you are done. (see pic)
I usually rate my jobs by number of f-bombs I drop - this one was a 3 f-bomber (out of 10) so not too bad, but it did take me about two hours.
Love the way it looks - crossbar is completely hidden. No trimming of the bumper panel was required.
This was installed on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade SEL.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY.
etrailer hith for Palisade.Order and delivery was fine, after install when I mounted a bike rack I noticed that rack is tilted to the right side. Contacted customer suppport and their response was "the hitch is within specs and that the angle is exaggerated by the bike rack and it will not affect the integrity of the hitch". Well that is great. Anything I put behind this car will be croocked. Acceptable to etrailer but not for me.
Very not happy.
I have purchased couple of hitches from etrailer before with no issues.
Customer support rep was responsive and polite, no issues there.
Please, read before you buy this hitch.

Good pricing. Hitch was delivered promptly. Watched video once and was able to perform the installation. This is my third hitch from etrailer.
Installation was pretty easy, even laying on the floor to do it. Trailer Hitch fit perfect.
Great hitch and perfect fit! The only issue was reinstalling the plastic panel. It had to be modified in order to fit because the frame bolts were interfering with the location it was mounted. It was an easy fix.
Very heavy duty hitch. Installation went smoothly. All the holes lines up. My only comment is that I needed a 21 mm socket for the nut on the end of the 12 mm bolt. Instructions did not state that.
A great fit and most of the hitch is tucked up under the car. It was delivered by me in the early morning and promised to receive it at the end of the day. I received it the end of the day as promised. I am super pleased and say, go to E trailer to get yr hitch.
The receiver fit and bolted up perfectly to my 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Would highly recommend trailer hitch receivers.

I have used this hitch to tow a 17 Casita Travel Trailer around and havent had any issues with it. Still towing strong!
Been on the Palisade for a year now and used it yesterday. Cheaper option versus factory receiver and it wasn't bad to install. Just have a good torque wrench and maybe some stands to elevate the rear of the vehicle. I have a slope driveway and did everything with my 13 yr old no problem but lacked just a little room to easily move the torque wrench. Still got it but stands could have helped.

The Class III Receiver Hitch e95ZR was a perfect fit for my 2022 Hyundai Palisade - like a glove. From the factory the hitch arrived in a well packaged substantial cardboard box. I selected the flat black paint option because I didn't care to have anything shiny but the truth of the matter all you can see is the hitch receiver out the back end of the car. The novice installation time of 90 minutes would require you have the ultimate set of DIY tools and know exactly what to do when during the installation! I did a minimal amount of "pre-installation research" then tackled the job. Maybe I am just old and slow but give yourself more like 4 hours start (unboxing) to finish (putting the tools away). Here is my adventure - I started by dropping the spare tire, then I removed the drivers side plastic cover (where you attach the wiring harness). When you remove this start by first loosening the two overhead plastic fasteners then pop the (3) lower trim fasteners. If you don't already have a small metal automotive trim fastener tool - get one! They are cheap and will save you from busting your knuckles. Once that was done a got busy figuring out the exhaust isolation hangers which are about fist sized rubber attachments. I had good access and success with two of them - with a little soapy water and a strong firm pull they popped off. Then because I did have a little lowering of the exhaust I set off thinking I could wiggle in the hitch into position. This proved to be successful but wasted time - hard to reach the bolt holes and get things lined up while balancing a 39lb hitch. Really you want a 2nd set of hands for this - would make it significantly easier! I did manage to get at least 1 bolt in to hold the hitch but with no workable room then set out to pull the 3rd exhaust isolation hanger. However this one - closer to the passenger side rear wheel is in a difficult position - no leverage. So after wasting considerable time I relented and pulled the passenger side rear wheel off the car. This was the key and allowed me to slide off the hanger. I used a bungee cord to temporary provide strain relief to the exhaust. Once the exhaust was out of the way there was enough room to get all the bolts in place and secure them to the specified torque. When doing that I used a wrench to hold the nut or bolt head while taking advantage of the space on the outsides of the car (you will know what I mean the first time you crawl under). Electrical work - not much to show here - make sure the tabs line up and you will hear a very satisfying click. How you dress it up under the plastic cover is up to you - I am a fan of zip tying things together but mindful of wire bend radius. One thing when you slip the plastic cover piece back on there is easy room (no need to cut) for the hitch receiver wire (flat plug) but you will need to push and pinch in the cover a little depending on you bolt vs. nut direction. The instructions show having both bolt heads on the inside of the hitch towards the outside of the car which for the rearward bolt on the driver side should be reversed (would make for an easier install). Tip - you will see some purple in the pictures on the bolts. That is thanks to my daughters old nail polish - a nice way to know visually if anything has moved over time (and it has the right DIY cost = free). Overall what's important is that you have confidence in a safe and secure installation - so don't worry about the time clock you are not a professional wrench turner. Slow down and enjoy the install these hitches will outlast your car (they have for me on previous cars).
This was purchased for a bike rack but because the hitch isn’t an OEM it sits lower and under the bumper. When I try to lower the rack, it hits the ground which will damage the racks pull rod (it’s a 1up). Therefore I can’t get into the back of my car without taking the bikes off. Hitch itself is fine but be aware of reduced clearance.

Amazing customer service. Ordered on a Thursday, received on a Saturday, and had it professionally installed in 60 minutes. It’s more low profile than I expected (was strongly considering the stealth hitch but glad I didn’t go that route). Matte looks great. It doesn’t protrude beyond the bumper (see pic for a 2024 Palisade) and looks good (as in doesn’t draw attention). Very excited to use a proper bike rack now instead destroying a trunk with a rack!
