Big improvement over my previous front hitch. This hitch is high enough to be very useful and does not drag on curbs like the previous hitch. I like the 1,000 pound capacity enabling me to maneuver my 28' Airstream and 32' car hauler without exceeding the tongue weight.
The negative: The instructions on installation are not so good. I read the instructions several times and watched the website installation video but was unable to determine the correct cutting of the air dam. The instructions indicate cutting down to the raised lip which is not, in my opinion, correct. I wish I had cut only to the air dam it's self since the only thing I do not like is the gap caused by cutting the upper lip away.
Good hitch but hard to install. Directions and videos were vague on how to get space to install bolts and torque them. The use of double stick tape on 1/2” shims is a Joke! Why are they even used? Best to spot weld to the hitch first. After I finally got the hitch in place after shims got bumped and fell out, then you have to pull the upper bolts back out to reinstall your tow hooks. Well of course the darn shims fall out again! Almost impossible to get them back in and realigned with hitch/shim/ tow hooks/frame!
The supplied long bolt were barely long enough to get washers and nut on them. No space to work with between hitch and front reinstalled front trim pieces and truck frame. A supposed 2 hour job turned into 2 days of frustration.
This is going to make it possible for me to take my fat tire ebike when towing my trailer.

Nice product. Very sturdy although instructions were a bit vague. I feel the shims with the tape were an afterthought and could be eliminated by making the cross tube the correct length. My only real compaint is that now I HAVE to buy a snow plow and winch and hammock and every receiver mounted attachment there is. Gonna haul my motorcycle with it this weekend.

Don't for get about the hitch mounted flag poles, light up hitch overs, oh and one of my favorites is the hitch mounted grill! There are truly endless possibilities now, Scott!
First of all I have not had time to install it yet. First impression it seems to be well built. I have looked at the installation instructions and they seem to be very straight forward and explain everything well. Once I install it if my mind changes I'll update this post.

Easy to install. Works great for carrying my motorcycle when the camper on my truck.
A well made product with simple and accurate directions for installation.
The installation on a 2024 diesel was a little bit different than the video had shown of install
This is a very sturdy and well-made hitch. Installation was fairly straight forward - the directions and video are very good. My truck is a 2024 Silverado 2500 HD in High Country trim (why pay less?) so, the fairings/moldings under the front bumper were slightly different, but nothing that was not easy to adjust to. The measurements in the instructions were right on.
As you can see in the photos, we have two ebikes that we plan to haul around while we pull our camper. The hitch and bike rack set up appears to be very secure and stable. They sit a little higher than I would like, but not any higher that the snowplow lights I had on a truck I has way back in the day...
I'm pretty good at backing the camper (28 ft), but I am also looking forward to testing out pushing the camper into it's fairly tight parking pad. I've never done it, but I hear it works well in close spaces.
Lastly, this is the second hitch I have purchased from etrailer. We added one to the back of the wife's Rav4 last fall to haul this same bike rack and bikes. It also works great (tight, stable and secure) except note that the Toyota installation was a little more challenging as there is very little room to work & insert the bolts, however, no cutting was involved. It looks nice.
In any case, both transactions were great. If I had another vehicle that needed a hitch, I would purchase it again from eTrailer. Much thanks to all.
Best looking front mount hitch on the market. Good instructions. Product seems heavy duty. Very happy with this purchase.

Product has held up great over this past year. No rust. Looks and feels just as good as day 1
The EcoHitch front mount hidden hitch is well made with easy to follow instructions.I would say that moderate skills are needed to install.We used this hitch to carry a generator on our 2021 Chevy HD 3500.Several people asked about the hitch on our 6000 mile trip from Texas to Canada this last summer.
Very nice fit and easy installation. Very nice hitch reciever.

Really happy with this product. I've used it multiple times over the past year with no issues. The install was straightforward, with excellent instructions/video help. Only negative with my process was the shipping - I think they tried to ship in a cardboard box, but there was barely a shred of cardboard left when it arrived (this is far too heavy for that). So it was banged up a bit from the transit; I had to touch up paint to try and prevent corrosions on those spots.
Wanted a front hitch with good clearance that didn’t interfere with my ranch hand and winch mount. This was just what I was looking for. No mounting interference, easy install.
Great service from etrailer. Order processed and shipped quickly. Installed on a 2022 Silverado :3500 The hitch is well made, fit perfectly. At 10k/1k (total wt/tongue) capacity it’s more front hitch than I’ll ever need. Instructions were easy to understand and follow. Installation requires some cutting of the truck’s plastic trim. Bolted right up with no issues.
Great service and follow up with me to make sure everything went smoothly. It did!!

I haven’t installed it yet since I just received it yesterday. I think eteailer should allow at least a week for the customer to have time to install their purchase before asking for a rating.
Visually looking at the hitch it appears solid and the welds look good.
I can’t say much more about it at this time. By next week I will be able to give a review on actual installation and quality.
Install was pretty straight forward. Two man job. Take you time and don’t cut to much of the front plastic fairing below the bumper. Looks great and extremely happy with the results.
Perfect fit on my 2020 Silverado 2500. I have the base model truck so some of the instructions did not apply (no wiring to move, fewer screws). Without a lift, I used a scissors jack to raise the unit into position.
