Scott S ... thank you for your expert input on my roof rack questions! My new Subaru Outback Touring XT finally arrived and I discovered it DOES have integrated crossrails from the factory. Is this configuration compatible with your Malone roof box MPG911?

Yes, the Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails # C18118 will fit your 2022 Subaru Outback Touring XT with raised roof rails. This would then provide the crossbars needed to use the Malone Profile18B Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG911. The Malone Profile18B Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG911 uses clamps to attach to the crossbars so the fact that the Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails # C18118 doesn't have channels doesn't make much of a difference for this use.

The Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails # C18118 has a weight capacity of 150 lbs. so you will want to keep that in mind when loading your cargo.

The Malone Profile18B Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG911 fits crossbars with a range of 1"-3" wide and 3/4"- 1-3/8" tall. You can measure your crossbars to be sure that the cargo box will fit correctly.
