In order to use a new bed on your 2009 Chevy 3500, you need to rewire the truck. There are no current plug-and-play adapters to use for wiring the taillights, turn signals, and backup lights with the new bed.
In order to be equipped with the parts you need, I recommend the 3-Piece Electrician Tool Set # PTW1714. This comes with wire cutters, a voltage reader, and a wire stripper. If you need just a voltage reader, I recommend the LCD Tester # PTW2992.
If you need heat butt connectors, those are the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors - Qty. 10 # DW05743-10.
