Clevis Hook Safety Chain Recommendation for a 2014 Ram 2500 with Hitch Prep Gooseneck
Published 11/04/2014 >
Question:
I just purchased a 2014 Ram 2500 and had the dealer put in their gooseneck hitch. However when I tried to hook up my Exiss trailer the clevis on the safety chain is far too small to fit around the safety chain hookinch on the truck. Tried to buy something to fit it today at local trailer store and they had nothing big enough. What size do we need?

I would check out the Fulton Safety Chain # FCHA0070324. These chains have a large clevis on them that has a diameter of 1/2 of an inch.
These are recommended for the tall safety chain loops by Reese for underbed rail kits part # RP58468 so they should work great for you.
