EZ Flex Equalizer Recommendation for a 2003 Jayco Designer w 2 6000 lb axles 33inch Axle Spacing
Published 10/22/2014 >
Question:
I have a 2003 Jayco Designer with two 6000 lb axles and 33inch axle spacing. The existing equalizer is the dexter 13-10 with 6 1/16inch bottom hole spacing and 4inch between bottom the holes and the top hole. I already ped the equalizer into the bottom hole on the frame to raise the trailer to better fit my 4x4 tow pickup and the spring ends are in the center of three holes available. There is one more hole about 1 1/4inch lower that I could use on each spring end. It does not appear that Dexter makes an ez flex for my application.

For tandem axles we have kit # K71-652-00 with 5-1/4 to 6-1/4 inch long equalizers and 6k capacity. It is designed for an axle spacing of 33 inches which is exactly what you have.
You should be able to use this kit in the lowest setting you have on your trailer. I attached a picture that shows the dimensions of this kit.
