This rectangular amber light uses three white LEDs that shine bright through the amber lens, giving you solid visibility while drawing only 0.07 amps at 12.8V. LEDs last up to 50 times longer than old incandescent bulbs, and there are no filaments to burn out or bulbs to replace. That means more light, less power draw, and no maintenance headaches down the road.
Installing this light is straightforward thanks to its single-wire design that grounds through the mounting hardware. The surface mount layout fits cleanly in place without extra drilling or complex wiring. It measures 3-3/4" long by 2-1/16" tall and just 15/16" thick, with 3-1/4" between mounting holes, so it sits flush and neat on your trailer.
With a PC rating, this light throws a 90-degree beam to each side for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. When mounted correctly, it doubles as both a clearance light and a side marker light—helping others spot your trailer head-on or from an angle. That wide beam spread adds an extra layer of safety in low-light conditions or nighttime towing.
Built for long service, the polycarbonate lens and housing stand up to impact and weather without cracking or fading easily. The reflex reflector is integrated right into the lens, so you don’t need to add a separate reflector for compliance or visibility. Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics LED side marker or clearance light. This rectangular LED trailer light serves as a side marker or clearance light when properly mounted. It has the built in reflex reflector, which eliminates the need for a separate reflector. And it is an LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights, they last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.This unit features the durable polycarbonate housing and lens.
It's a surface mount installation, mounting hardware not included. Surface mount means that it mounts directly to the surface of your trailer, so there's no hole to cut out or grommet needed for the installation.It's a single wire design. This is your power wire right here, and then the unit grounds through mounting hardware on this location right here. You can see it has that metal ring around it That's the ground ring.This is a PC rated unit. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.We're going to go over some measurements and then we'll hook up to power.
Edge to edge in this direction, is three and 3/4 inches. Edge to edge going this direction is about two and 1/16th, right in that area. Overall thickness, that's front to back, is about 15/16ths of an inch. And then the mount holes on the unit are separated on center by three and 1/4 inches.We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights.
So I'm going to connect the power wire here and then I'll connect to my ground right here.So you can see there that it sends out a really nice consistent signal. It is a multi-diode design, so that means it contains more than one LED. So the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. The power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.07 amps, and Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on their LEDs.And that's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics LED side marker or clearance light.

I have owned these lights for a year now - having bought them to replace existing marker lights on my utility trailer. After a year, these lights still look and work like new. No sign of UV damage or weathering from the harsh Florida sun. I would definitely buy these again!

Still running strong after a year. It crazy how long these last when they dont get bashed into really hard things.
These fit Carryon trailers from [tractor store]. They are excellent bright lights. Unfortunately for me they aren't unbreakable, but I eventually cut that too-close Valencia orange tree down. Yes, a chainsaw was the solution to my trailer light "problem".
Easy like for like install on a Carry-On trailer. Very bright. It uses LEDs so I never have to change another bulb every time I use try to use the trailer!
