Could Someone Unscrew Back of etrailer Wheel Lock # e98892

What can stop someone from loosening it up from the back of the tire?

Hey Mike, this is a great question but basically when etrailer spare lock part # e98892 is in the locked position it can't unthread at all. Even if you somehow grabbed the front of the lock and then used vice grips on the back to try and unthread it the locking mechanism wouldn't allow that to happen. Have you had a spare stolen before?

Used to secure spare to RV Spare Tire Carrier. Work very well, snug and does exactly what it's suppose to.

This wheel lock is keyed from the back and will not come off without the key. Seems to be a good product. I bought it to keep my spare from being stolen again. So far so good.
