How to Determine What Lug Nut Size/Thread Pitch Is on A Pop Up Camper
Updated 10/06/2014 | Published 10/05/2014 >
Question:
Someone gave us a 1997 skamper 23s pop up camper and I want to replace the lug nuts... the socket for taking it off is 15/16 and the bolt measures 1/2 inch. We took a lug not off and tried to thread it on to the spare tire studs on the back of the camper and they would not thread on. It appears that the wheel stud threads are a machine thread. I saw in one of your other post for another brand of camper and someone suggested it could be metric. Is there any way to look up what size studs came with this camper?

There is no way for us to look up what lug nuts your trailer has, but if you take one of the lugs from your trailer to an auto parts store they should be able to determine what you have and what would work as a replacement lug.
