Question:
My brake controller is a Tekonsha Voyager. I want to connect the four wires out of the controller to the prewired Toyota harness so I am looking for a wire set that will plug into the Toyota socket and then I can splice the other ends of the wires four into the controller. A three foot length will reach the controller. If it is shorter I will need to splice extra wire on to the the controller wires. At the rear bumper I have a four wire plug that was prewired from the factory. Presumably this is for brake, tail and turn signal lights. I also have a factory wired plug with heavy gauge blue and black wires. The pigtail of which terminates into a dummy socket. I think these wire are for the electric brakes as they appear to originate from a 30 amp breaker in the fuse box near the battery and also are wired into the socket behind the left front kick panel to feed the brake controller. What I think I need is a 4 pin and 7 pin combination socket that has pigtails that will plug into the 4 wire and 2 wire sockets that are prewired at the rear of my truck. One additional factor is that the truck uses a separate amber bulb for turn signals. My RV uses a two bulb system. Will I need a converter? Sorry I didnt explain this clearly in my first inquiry.

If your truck came with a factory 4-Way connector, you will need to use part # ETBC7 to add a 7-Way at the rear of the truck. You will plug the lead off the 7-Way into your pre-existing 4-Pole. You will then have to hardwire the other 4 loose leads. White is grounded to truck frame, black is ran to the battery with the included 40amp breaker wired in line. Blue is run up to the cab on the truck and is connected to the blue wire on your brake controller. The purple wire is for reverse lights. If not needed, you can tape the wire up and out of the way.
What brake controller do you currently have and how do you have it connected. I have not heard of a 2 wire connector for brake controllers. I have added links to videos for a brake controller install on a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser that should be helpful.
