Question:
I have a brand new 2015 shore lander boat trailer. I purchased that EZ trailer caddy jack from you. Is there instructions how to remove this original hack? I dont see any bolts to take it off? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you don't see any bolts holding the existing jack onto the trailer frame, it might have been installed by welding it in place. If this is the case, you'd need to grind off the welds, which is something you'd probably need a professional welding shop to handle for you. If the jack or the trailer frame is galvanized, grinding on the trailer can create toxic fumes. Once the welds are ground off, the old jack would be removed. Then, the trailer frame would need to be smoothed out and repainted in the area where the jack had been.
You might have a jack that's held onto the mount by a snap ring, as shown in the provided photo. If this is the case, you'll need snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring. Once the snap ring is removed, you should be able to slide the jack right off the mount. If the mount doesn't interfere with the new jack, you can simply leave it in place. Otherwise, you'll have to grind off the welds as mentioned above.
