Trailer wheel bearings are specific to the spindle that is installed on your 2004 Trail-Lite Model 8211. The easiest way to determine the correct replacement bearings for your trailer is to remove the hub and find the part numbers that will be stamped on the inner and outer bearings. I have attached an article that goes over, from start to finish, the step by step instructions for replacing the bearings, races, and seals on a trailer hub.
If your bearings are damaged or you are not able to find the part numbers on the bearings, then you can take a few measurements on the spindle. You will need to know the inner diameters of the inner and outer bearing and the grease seal. These measurements will need to be as precise as possible, so I recommend using a digital caliper.
I have included a photo that shows where you can find the bearing part numbers on the bearings and where to measure on the spindle. You can then choose the correct bearings based on the part numbers or by the inner diameters.
Once you have determined the correct outer bearing, you will use it's outer diameter to find the correct bearing buddy. I have attached a link to all of the Bearing Buddy bearing protectors that are available.
Lastly, choosing the correct replacement hubs. I have also attached a link to our trailer hubs and drums. On the left of that page you will choose the bolt pattern of your hub, your wheel size, your axle capacity, and since most of our hubs also include the bearings, make this selection also. After narrowing down the search, you should have the hub assembly that is right for you.
If you would like to provide me with the above information, I would be happy to help you determine which parts that you will need.
