Question:

Im buying a 7 X 16 enclosed cargo trailer and I need to buy a bunch of e track ratchet straps to secure dozens of steel pipes ranging from 6inch OD X 36inch tall to 12inch OD X 60inch tall. I want to stand the pipes in a vertical position against the walls in a pyramid shape, maybe 2 to 6 pipes in each cluster depending on their size and weight. Let me know if this is the best method and if so, what I need to buy that will function best. The other option which I dont like is to lay them on the floor and secure them there.

The Erickson ratchet strap # EM59136 would be a good option. This strap is 12 feet long and 2 inches wide. I have linked a video review for you to check out to the right. There is also an 8 foot version, # SLLS28RER, 16 foot version, # EM59139, and 20 foot version, # EM59140.

What I would do is ratchet strap each bundle with a regular ratchet strap such as # EM34420. Then I would secure them against the trailer using the E-track and E-Track ratchet straps.
