Hi Charlie,

To flat tow your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I recommend using the following:

-Roadmaster Direct Connect Base Plates part # 1427-3 (doesn't fit models with a brush guard)

-etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar part # e74ZR that is rated for 6,000lbs and has safety cables included

-Blue Ox Patriot 3 Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR

-Roadmaster Brake Light Relay Kit part # RM-88400 is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights

If you don't have lighting for the taillights already, I suggest using the Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 to connect your motorhome's taillight signals to the Jeeps. It also includes the 7-way to 6-round cord that runs between the motorhome and the vehicle. You'll want to double check that your Jeep is capable of being flat towed as well. If it's a 4WD it'll need to have a two-speed transfer case that can be put in a neutral position; a 2WD model cannot be flat towed without removing the drive shaft. Our prices vary day to day so I'm not able to provide a quote on an exact price. It should only vary a few dollars here and there.

Do you have any trips planned to take your Jeep on?
