Availability of Extension for Weigh Safe Hitch For Jack Clearance

Question:

I have a GMC 3500 HD truck with a 2.5 receiver. I also have a WeighSafe hitch that is also 2.5 shank. I am looking for a 2.5 extension to bring the hitch out just a few inches so the lift door on my topper does not hit the tongue jack on my camper. Any ideas?

Hi Andrew, all of our extensions will reduce down to a 2" receiver, so your 2-1/2" shank won't fit. If this is a ball mount, you might want to look into one with an extended shank. If it is the True Tow, and extended shank is not available.

Are you able to rotate your trailer jack to get the clearance you need?
