my sprinter has the step bumper, does this hitch fit?

Hey Kurt, yes the Curt hitch part # 13358 is a confirmed fit for your 2026 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 with the factory step bumper. This fits both the 144 inch or 170 inch wheelbase too. Are you planning on doing some towing?

Yes this one fits with the step bumper. What we did find is this brand & another brand both (the only ones on the market) failed after multiple cross country trips with weight range close to the maximum weight & not being overloaded on the tongue. This was 10's of thousands of miles on both brands. Since then we started with a class 5 universal kit & built our own to prevent any future issues. Saying this our use is right near the limits of class 3 all the time & this unit is probably good for most users. Nobody made class 4 or higher which is what we use normally on all of our vehicles.

Ditto. Added mine with the step bumper. Can’t comment on the max limit failures as I only tow about 3k lbs. Solid hitch for the money and value over other options in the same class. Buy it

Mine went on my Mercedes with the step bumper piece of cake. Just had to remember which side to put the bolts in from other than that it was as it gets.
