Full Flat Towing Set Up For A 2026 Chevy Trax

I can definitely help with that! I have a full set up for your 2026 Chevy Trax listed below, but I do want to mention that the base plate is specifically for vehicles without the ACTIV option (if you have the ACTIV option, let me know and I can recommend a different base plate/tow bar).

Since your vehicle needs the # RM-766 battery disconnect to be flat towed, the # RM-156-25 charge line is definitely needed. Otherwise your battery will be dead when you get to where you end up going. If by change the 12v port on your motorhome's 7-Way (1 o'clock position) isn't powered, you will also want to grab the # RM-156-75 and connect that to your motorhome's battery and the 1 o'clock port on the 7-Way.

Then for the braking system, you didn't mention if you wanted a permanently installed system or a portable system, so I have options for both:

Both of these are good options, but I must admit to being preferable to the Demco option. The initial install will be more involved, but then you don't have to do anything with it. It's also one of the most reliable options on the market, so it's the one I typically recommend.
