Can this be mounted ABOVE the bumper? If not, is there a model that can be?

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 can be mounted above the bumper instead of below it. We've had several customers install it in this orientation with good results, so that's definitely an option if you're looking for a little extra ground clearance. Just make sure your RV bumper is rated to support the hitch and whatever you plan to carry.
What will you be using the hitch for?
