Can I Add Slide Skis to a Slide Out that Didn't Originally Come with Skis?

I have a 2019 cougar 27rls fifth wheel my slides do not have slide skis can I put them on it?

Hi Darrell,
If your slide outs didn't originally have slide skis from the factory, you can add them. The Specialty Recreation Replacement Slide Out Skis part # SR68RR would be an excellent option to use to add to your slide outs. Since your slides didn't come with skis, you'll need to jack up the slide while it's extended about 1" to 2" so that it clears the rollers and you can slide the skis underneath. The skis are 53" long, but they can be trimmed to fit the depth of your slide out with a utility knife if need be. The skis will need to be placed 6 inches away or closer from the edges (walls) of the slide out to make sure that the skis slide over the rollers.
