Will Furrion 15K Chill Cube Low Profile AC Unit Work On Non-Ducted 2024 Alliance All Access 29RL RV?

2024 Alliance All-Access 29RL. Currently have a Furrion 18K chill cube non-ducted. Can this low profile be used as non-ducted?

Hey there Suzanne.

Yes, the Furrion Chill Low-Profile RV AC # FR22TF can be used in a non-ducted setup on your 2024 Alliance All-Access 29RL.

However, it won't be a direct plug-and-play replacement for your existing 18K Chill Cube. You'll also need the Air Distribution Box # FR38BC and Mounting Frame # FR34FY. The new ceiling assembly includes its own controls and remote, so you won't need to reuse your existing AC controls.

At this time, we don't offer a complete non-ducted kit for this particular Furrion model, so those three components would be your solution.

Another option worth considering is the GE Appliances Low-Profile AC System # GE98RR. This is a complete non-ducted system with the ceiling assembly and controls included, and it's more affordable than purchasing the Furrion components separately.

Both offer 15,000 BTUs of cooling, a heat pump, and a lower rooftop profile. The Furrion features a variable-speed compressor, while the GE offers a more budget-friendly complete setup. Either way, you'd be dropping slightly in cooling capacity from your current 18K unit.
