Will the Lets Go Aero Jack-It PLUS Bike Rack Fit a Rockwood 19OTG Without Hitting the Tow Vehicle?

Published 10/06/2026

Question:

Im buying a Rockwood 19otg popup. The model number is important, because it does not have slide out bunks on either end. It just goes straight up. I need a way to carry 2 bikes on the A frame. The way the pictures show this mounted would probably put the bikes too close to the two vehicle when turning its a Toyota Highlander SUV. Can the top part be swung around so instead of tilting towards the vehicle it angles towards the popup while in use? Also, where can I find a diagram that shows the bolt hole spacing so I can see if they line up with my Jack holes.

Hey Tom!

Yes, the Lets Go Aero Jack-It PLUS # LGA47ZR should give you some flexibility here since the upper V-shaped section rotates 360 degrees. I would use that adjustment to position the bikes so they stay clear of both the front of your Rockwood 19OTG and your Toyota Highlander.

The tow vehicle is generally less likely to have a clearance issue during turns since the bikes sit back over the trailer tongue, but I would still check everything through a sharp turn before traveling. You will also want to make sure the bikes are not rotated so far toward the camper that they contact the front wall.

The rack mounts using the same 3 bolt holes as your A-frame jack, which is the standard 3" on 3". I've seen very few trailers that have different jack mounting bolts, so there's like a 5% chance you'd need to drill a new hole or enlarge one, but it's very rare. I bet you have the standard jack mount pattern.

Another option is the Swagman Stratus # S52SR, which mounts directly to the A-frame and gives you some flexibility in where it sits. The downside is that it does not have the same 360-degree swivel adjustment as the # LGA47ZR, so for your clearance concern I would probably lean toward the Jack-It # LGA47ZR

Hope this helps! What kind of bikes do you plan to haul on the rack?

Pretty much atb's, touring and hybrids. They're all within the weight limits. I'd love if the ProRack carrier was still in business.

@TomK Nice! Yeah that was a cool design; shame they don't make anything like that currently.
