Question:
Hi guys, my 2027 Highlander has a hitch for our bike rack but no trailer wiring. We're buying a pop-up with electric brakes and I want to use the Curt Echo In-Line. What wiring do I need to add?

Hey Natalie! To install the Curt Echo In-Line # C79DR on your Highlander, you'll need to start by adding the Curt 4-Way Wiring Harness # C56RV. You can then upgrade this to a 7-way using the etrailer Installation Kit # e556GR.
This kit comes with the 7-way adapter, wiring, breakers, and hardware needed for installation. It also has the USCAR connector the Echo requires, so you can plug the controller in-line behind the 7-way.
What pop-up are you buying?
