It sure is Joel. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers item # RM-2460 are indeed compatible with the MORryde CRE3000 equalizers.

The Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers item # RM-2460 attach to the top of the leaf springs and then bolt directly to your trailer's frame so they're able to completely avoid the center hanger where the equalizer is mounted.

The Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers item # RM-2460 come with all hardware necessary to complete the installation and are designed to work with 3" diameter axles.

It looks like your 2026 Grand Design Imagine XLS 21mbe comes with two 3,000 lbs axles. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers item # RM-2450 would be the correct kit if they're 2-3/8" in diameter. I recommend you verifying that before ordering.

What kind of roads do you typically travel with your Grand Design? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

I added the Roadmaster shocks to my 2018 Reflection 303rls 5th wheel, which has SRE4000 equalizers. I have noticed that the trailer no longer "bounces" after I go over rough patches of road. There is a bump, then the shocks take control and stop the excessive bouncing of the trailer. I am very pleased with the results. I no longer find items in the trailer cupboards have been tipped over, so it has improved our travels.

I concur, after two seasons with and two seasons prior without on my 2023 Arctic Wolf 3770STE which is a 43.5' 13k+ fifth wheel it has been almost night and day in the overall ride quality and reduction in "moving things" during travel days. I was hesitant with the overall cost and amount of work, but if I were to update my trailer to a newer or different model this would be one of the first updates I'd be lining up for it as well. The trailer tows much nicer and the sheer heft and quality of the parts and springs compared to the stock units is drastic. The install was not as cumbersome as I had anticipated beyond some personal tweaks I had to make due to our rig having a 2" square tube welded to the frame's I beam which changed the mounting approach from their instructions, but a quick trip to our local farm supply store to get some longer grade 8 nuts and bolts to go through the square tube and frame vs their included self tapers, along with a new drill bit or two and things were back on track. It took me a leisurely weekend taking my time to do the spring swap and shock install along with doing my bearings and seals while it was that far torn down. If you have some solid basic skills and tools, most anyone can do this on their own. The biggest nuisance for me was doing it in my gravel pad the camper is parked on. Well worth the effort and cost for the amount of miles we tow it and the peace of mind of less vibration and jarring of the roads transferring into the rest of the rig. All the best if you move forward on yours.

Hey Joe, I don’t know if you’ve bought the system yet but I have a 2015 Montana Mountaineer. Before I installed, I got a lot of bounce because it’s a rear kitchen and a lot of swing from side to side. It completely eliminated the side to side movement and it cut the bounce by 85% no more broken dishes in the cupboards well worth the money. It’s about a four hour install. Mine took five because I had the brackets welded, but again well worth the money.

I have a 2022 grand design 5th wheel32’ With CRE 3000 center, 2.5” lift blocks and 16” rims and 235/80 G rated tires. So 4” higher than factory. The comfort ride shocks work very well and took one day to install. My only complaint is that the kit would be even better with dual shocks!!!!
