Question:
I just picked up a 2025 Silverado 2500 and need a fixed ball mount. Based on my measurements I need about 4" of drop. I tow a couple different trailers so I'm trying to figure out which version I should order.

Hey Eric, congratulations on the new truck! You will want to choose the ball mount based on the ball size to match your coupler. The capacity is tied to the size of the ball. We have the following etrailer ball mounts with a 4" drop for the 2-1/2" receiver on your 2025 Silverado 2500:
-etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball 4" Drop # e48TV
-etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2-5/16" Ball 4" Drop # e58TV
The # e48TV has a 10,000 lb capacity while the # e58TV is rated for 20,000 lbs. Both have the hitch ball already installed and torqued so they're ready to use.
What trailers are you pulling with the Silverado?
