Question:
I need the drum and the electric brake assembly for my utility trailer. It has 3,500-lb Axles - 10 x 2-1/4 Drum brake, 5 on 5 lugs and 15 wheels. My spindle is fine but I do not know what kind it is. Which parts do i need from you to do an axle both sides? Thanks.

Hey Joby! Assuming you really have 5 on 5 for your bolt pattern you can use the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # TRU86AV you were looking at. This fits a #84 spindle using inner bearing L68149 and outer bearing L44649 which is common for 3,500 lb axles. The only reason I would have to believe the spindle was any different is if this is a really old trailer.
Then for brakes, you can use the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA. These are self-adjusting brakes designed to fit the drum on the TruRyde hubs and a 4-bolt brake flange. If you need new mounting hardware the # BRKH10B is available separately.
What do you usually haul with your utility trailer?

Thanks for the quick response. I checked and the bearings match those numbers. Good tip on the mounting hardware. I usually haul desert vehicles, it is a dual axle but only one axle has the elec brake.
