Question:

I have a 2018 Heartland Big Horn 3970RD I am looking to find a conversion from kingpin to a gooseneck. I have a flatbed truck it’s a bandW turnover hitch that is FLUSH MOUNTED to flatbed I need to know which conversions are approved for this set up. I am not currently with Rv as I am in another state and need to order the adapter ASAP to get this moved ASAP… thank you!!!

Hi Heather! Since you have a B&W Turnoverball that is flush mounted in your flatbed, the easiest option is the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3050. This installs directly into the square Turnoverball receiver and will work with your existing pin box.

If you specifically want to convert the trailer to a gooseneck pin box, we'll need to identify the bolt pattern to find a replacement. Unfortunately, there isn't a reliable way to determine that without the S/N off the sticker or actually measuring. If you can send me a picture of the pin box sticker, or tell me the S/N, I can identify what you have through Lippert.
