Question:

Can you give me the part numbers I need for the Redarc tow pro liberty brake controller kit and the control knob mounting panel. TOO many choices with different parts. No clarification for my rig. 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X Best regards Patrick

Hi Patrick! The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED53CR is the kit you need for your 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. This includes the custom wiring harness that plugs into the factory brake controller port in your truck.

A vehicle-specific mounting panel isn't available for the Frontier. You can install the control knob directly in the dash, or drill one of the factory blank switch panels for a clean installation.

If you have the factory tow package with a 7-way at the rear that will be everything you need for installation. If you do not have the 7-way, you will also need to add the # C34FR72ZY to complete your setup.

Robin don’t forget that if he’s adding a tow set up to his Nissan. That to go with the plug and play 7 pin hook up. Depending on his vehicle set up. He might also need the tow hitch plastic trim kit so it doesn’t look like trash. And I know for my Nissan pathfinder. I also needed some relays to install in the fuse locations under the hood. I’m not sure what the part numbers for that are. And to compliment your redarc controller you should get the factory bezels for you dash for the controllers knob. So it makes the install look like it came from the factory like that. Just some things I noticed and would want others to know what I had to do to get mine ready for towing. I also would recommend using some sort of stiffing rubbers for your coil springs. That or inflatable bladders to aid in stiffing up you suspension. Makes towing safer and comfortable.

@LoganF thanks for sharing your experience. Those requirements vary by model and year, and the Pathfinder setup doesn't carry over to this 2026 Frontier. The parts listed above cover what Patrick needs based on his Frontier's configuration.
