Is There A Trailer Spare Tire Mount For 5 On 5-1/2" Lug Pattern?

Updated 09/22/2026 | Published 09/19/2026

Question:

3375201012 I think I may have ruined my spare mount above. Which two holes are used for 5x5 1/2. I assumed the two furthest out left and right but that appears to measure 5x5 1/4. One of those holes is a 1/2 which I drilled to 5/8.

Hey John, I have a solution for you with the CE Smith Spare Tire Mount # CE22007Z-11050-2, but the Buyers Products Stake Pocket Spare Tire Mount # 3375201012 is for 5 on 4-1/2, 5 on 5, 6 on 5-1/2, and 8 on 6-1/2. It does not fit 5 on 5-1/2" pattern. It could probably be modified by drilling out the holes to make it fit, but that would be against the warranty and you'd be on your own in that regard.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll need a compatible carrier like the # CE22007Z-11050-2 I mentioned. This installs by mounting around the trailer tongue. It fits up to 3" tall frames. Let me know what setup you have and I can verify if this is the best option, but keep in mind there aren't many options for that specific lug pattern of 5 on 5-1/2".
