Question:
Hello, I have a 2014 tandem axle EZ Loader boat trailer, it previously had Trailer Buddy/UFP model DB35 disc brakes on it. Do you have a direct bolt on replacement full assembly? I also need brake lines, Id like to reuse the existing hydraulic actuator. Thanks

We sure do Josh! The Dexter DB-35 Single-Wheel Disc Kit item # DX35ER is the one you'll need to DB35 disc brake assemblies. This kit is sold per axle so you will need four. To replace your brake lines, I recommend the 25' Long Hydrastar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # HS496-252 or the 15' Long item # HS496-152.
The Dexter DB-35 Single-Wheel Disc Kit item # DX35ER includes a new rotor with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern, a new brake caliper with mounting bolts, all new bearings and grease seal, along with a new bearing buddy grease cap.
Which replacement brake line kit you need is going to be determined by how far back your front axle is from your hydraulic brake actuator. The 25' Long Hydrastar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # HS496-252 comes with a 25' main brake line. The 15' Long Hydrastar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # HS496-152 comes with a 15' long main brake line. You'll want to take a quick measurement to confirm which one reaches your main axle from the actuator. These kits come with all the additional brake lines and fittings you'll need to swap your old ones out and connect to the new Dexter DB-35 Single-Wheel Disc Kit item # DX35ER.
What boat are you hauling on your EZ loader trailer and where do you typically launch at? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
