Can a Curt Helux Gooseneck Pin Box Be Used With a 4" Offset Gooseneck Ball?

Hello, I have 2022 Sierra 2500HD, 6.75’ bed with an OEM prep. I just purchased a 2027 Cougar 316RLS 5th wheel. I am having them put a Curt gooseneck pin box 2024044576 on the camper. Are you able to confirm that a 60669 bracket and 60663 fixed 4” offset ball is approved with that Helux? I’d like to confirm that before I would buy them. Thank you.

Hey Ronald.
Congrats on your new camper! Very exciting. It seems like you're having them do all the right things as the # 60669 (pn C86GJ) bracket is designed to allow the # C68ZV (pn 60663) offset ball to work with the short bed. Just a heads up, you are able to pick up the # C68ZV alone as this comes with the bracket and offset ball. Now, this Helux C34HB (pn 2024044576) cannot be used with the Curt RockerBall cushioned gooseneck ball which makes the fixed ball that you chose the correct option.
Are you planning on camping locally, or do you have longer trips in mind with your new Cougar?
