Thanks for reaching out Ken. Unfortunately, your existing Firefly Multiplex system will not be able to control the Coleman-Mach Everest Variable Speed RV Air Conditioner System # CM35MR. Based on what you've described, it sounds like your current Coleman-Mach system uses the Coleman-Mach Firefly Control Box (model 9530-952), which was designed for the older R410A Coleman-Mach air conditioners.
The newer R32 systems, including the # CM35MR, have been redesigned with different electronic controls, wiring harnesses, and communication connections. Because of those changes, we have found that the new R32 air conditioners are not compatible with existing multiplex control systems. I'd have to assume there is progress being made on this front, however we have not been made aware of anything.
Are you looking to replace a single AC system or do you have a multi zone system currently?

I was told by air excel it won’t then work with any other thermostat and or any existing stat wires , they claimed you have to use their proprietary thermostat wires . However that is just not true. I wat he’d videos of dealers cutting the ends and using existing stat wiring . I didn’t same and it works perfectly. One thing was confusing is I have furnace power and ground up to roof air . To make the heat thermostat work from my old dometic to the new Coleman you simply don’t use the positive feed from thermostat and wire the one brown ( I think) wire from the new unit to the negative from furnace. Works like clockwork .
