Question:

I have a 2023 Nissan Frontier with track system. What clamps will work for holding down a topper or ladder rack without being interfered by the tracks?

Hi David,

The Erickson Clamps for Truck Bed Toppers part # EM09453 are not compatible with the Nissan Utili-Track. The track interferes with the lower "jaw" potrion of the C-clamp so it won't properly mount. Usually you need to use specific mounting hardware that comes with the topper or ladder rack to mount it to the track.

Are you just needing the clamps or do you need a whole system?

If you already have a topper or ladder rack I can try to see if there are adapters for it to fit the Nissan Frontier's Utili-Track. I'll also need to know if your truck bed is 5' or 6' long.

I have a 6' bed and want to get racks to carry a canoe. But...I definitely do not want to drill holes to mount them. And if I can't find out what clamping system works then my choice of what rack to buy is " compromised" to say the least.

@DavidW We have ladder racks that have mounting systems that can work with the Utili-track, we just don't have the mounting systems sold separately. If you're okay with getting a new ladder rack, the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/Load Stops part # EM07705 uses a J-hook style of mounting system so you won't need to drill into anything.
