Does Pairing Remote to Redarc Tow Pro Link Require Recalibrating Brake Controller

Question:

I installed the Redarc Tow-Pro part RED57AR on my 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD iMax 4cyl Hybrid with the intention of exclusively using the Bluetooth connectivity with my phone to monitor. I’m now thinking of using the Bluetooth remote to free up the phone for other use, and still have a dedicated controller in the cab. Will this require recalibrating or linking the Tow Pro to the Remote and going through the initial setup process all over again

Hey Mike, this is a great question but you would not need to recalibrate the Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller # RED57AR to add the remote like you are wanting to. You would just only need to pair the remote to the controller and the calibration would be left alone.
