How to Attach a Rhino Pioneer Platform to the Raised Roof Rails of a 2026 Toyota Sienna

Hey Jed. I have a solution but unfortunately the Pioneer Platforms can not be attached directly to crossbars. If your Sienna's Rhino-Rack crossbar uses the Rhino-Rack RX100 Legs item # RR97AP to secure the crossbars to the raised roof rails, you can attach the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray item # RR27AP directly to them. You will have to remove your crossbars though.

Attaching the Pioneer Platform Roof Tray item # RR27AP directly to the Rhino-Rack RX100 Legs item # RR97AP is really going to be beneficial when it comes to height issues. This mounting method lowers the Pioneer platform significantly because the legs attach directly to your Sienna's raised roof rails. This helps significantly with gas milage, while you're not hauling gear, which is more important than ever.

For a platform rack that will attach directly to crossbars, you'll need the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars item # Y05045-39. This kit includes adapters that will attach the 60" long x 54" wide platform directly to them.
