Recommended Hitch for a 2025 Mazda CX-50

Congrats on the new SUV Rene! For your 2025 Mazda CX-50, I recommend our etrailer Hitch item # e55XV.

The only differences in the Curt Hitch item # C33MJ and our etrailer item # e55XV are the paint finish and the cost. Both hitches are custom fit for your 2025 Mazda CX-50 and both are made by Curt.

I prefer our etrailer item # e55XV hitch because that matte finish offers better scratch protection and it blends in better beneath the trim when installed. The Curt Hitch item # C33MJ has a glossy shiny appearance that tends to stick out more after you get it installed.

At the end of the day these are both great hitches that will tow a trailer up to 3,500 lbs or haul an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier with a total weight of up to 525 lbs. The aesthetic concerns I pointed out are going to come down to personal preference when you make your decision.
