Purchasing the B&W Patriot Slider hitch was the best move. My old hitch would make noise when accelerating and decelerating. Even though the new hitch is a lot heavier and not easy to install, I still feel more confident when towing a heavy load.

I purchased the patriot fifth wheel hitch in February this year for a trip in March. I had checked with a RV dealer on having a hitch installed and they said anted more than three thousand dollars. I decided to install a hitch myself. I had the tools to do it and it took me about six hours start to finish. The instructions were detailed and easy to understand. By the way I did this outside on my driveway with temperatures in the 50’s. I am also 75 years old. I would recommend this hitch to anyone looking for a great hitch. I’ve towed over 2000 miles with it so far and no issues.
