Platform Bike Rack Recommendation that is Rated for Rear of Travel Trailer

Many hitch bike racks claim to be “RV compatible”. But really they are only RV rated and 5th Wheel no travel trailers with reduced weight ratings. I’m looking for a hitch bike rack that will work for TRAVEL TRAILERS. On the rear of the trailer, with a 2” receiver that is meant for racks. Thanks,

Hey Darin, this is a great thing to notice. Yes, some bike racks are only RV rated for certain types of RVs but not all. Travel trailers typically are one of the harder ratings to get. For a similar platform bike rack to the Yakima you referenced that is travel trailer rated our most popular option is the Kuat Transfer part # KU84FR which is very lightweight, easy to use, and also very stable.
