Question:
My TV has a 15a rating on the aux 12v power to the 7-pin tow connector 2012 VW Touareg. I want to replace my AGM battery in my trailer to a ~300ah lithium. Is this what I need to add to safely protect the TV and wiring.

Hey Robb, yes the Victron part # VN54RR is what you are looking for. Since Lithium batteries require a very specific voltage to charge this will take the 12 volt output circuit from your tow vehicle and will convert it to the needed voltage to charge your lithium battery. What are you towing?
