Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can use the TireMinder Smart TPMS # TPMS-APP-4 with rubber valve stems. This system uses TireMinder’s lightweight standard brass transmitters, and TireMinder specifically approves those transmitters for rubber valve stems. As long as your valve stems aren't excessively cracked or aged, you'll be good to go.
What kind of travel trailer do you have?

To follow up on Jesse M's advice: I got this tireminder over a year ago. My camper's wheels have rubber stems and tireminder has worked great. No false triggers yet after thousands of miles. My additional comment is that there is a lock nut that goes on the stem before and a wrench to tighten it in place to secure them. Be careful not to stress the rubber (or metal) stem when using this feature. I tend to leave the nut off as I'm not worried about them getting stolen in campgrounds, and if I'm parking it somewhere for a while in public or in winter storage, I simply take them off while there. One of my favorite features is the Android Auto dash app, I can check what's going on as a drive without turning my car's dash in to the space shuttle ??by sticking a display on, the extra display is not needed. The tireminder saved my bacon on my first tow .. It was really cool in the morning and heated up 25+ degrees. Tireminder let me know the pressure/temp was too high and I pulled over at a rest stop and let some out.
