Does the Benton move hitch move any closer to the bumper or just in the one position as shown in the video

Hey Paul! The Benton MoveHitch 60x24 Cargo Carrier item # B38VR only has one hitch pin hole on the shank so it does not have the ability to be mounted closer to the bumper.

When the Benton MoveHitch 60x24 Cargo Carrier item # B38VR is installed on a vehicle the hitch pin is 7-1/4" from the closest part of the carry when folded up and 11-5/8" when folded down. This distance is pretty standard for folding carriers and it allows you to have plenty of clearance to not contact the rear of your vehicle when all the gear is loaded up. It also allows you to access your rear hatch or cargo area without having to unload the carrier.
