Hi Bob, the drop on the Carr steps part # CARR118221 step is 5 inches, meaning the step sits 5 inches below the mounting point. They make it so much easier to get in the truck.
I also really like these steps because the XP3 black powder coat resists chipping, peeling, and fading, and the lightly textured matte black finish gives them a really clean look.
