What Accessories Do I Need To Go With The Curt RVibrake 4 On A 2022 Ford F-150?

I have been looking at several of your flat two products. Really leaning towards the rvi brake 3 system. What other accesories do you need for turn lights batteries etc. I have ford 2022 ford f-150. and winnebgo horzon 40a. thank you Scott

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can use the RVI brake system on your 2022 Ford F-150. The Curt RVibrake 4 # RVI44FR is the currently available version, so that is what I recommend going with. Its a very solid, easy to deal with brake system.
I see you already got a base plate and diode kit on order, so here are the rest of the parts I recommend:
- Curt Tow Bar 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord w/ 6-Way Socket - 7' Long # C59HR
- CURT RVibrake Towed Battery Charger+ for Flat Towing # RVI74FR
- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10.5K # e67ZR
The charger is recommended since the brake system does pull a bit of power from the battery. That way your battery will stay topped off and you won't have to stop and turn the car on periodically to keep it charged. That will cover all the main components.
You may end up needing a drop hitch like part # BLU28XR to compensate for any height differences between the base plate arms and the hitch on your motorhome. Any difference of more than 3" requires a drop hitch. Keep in mind if the drop hitch is used, safety cable extensions # RM-910648-10 will also be needed.
