Curt Weight Distribution Recommendation for Ram Towing Horse Trailer

Question:
I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 Tradesman 5.7L Hemi that I use haul a 2 horse bumper pull trailer. My trailers weight is anywhere from 4,700-6,000lbs depending on whether I am hauling 1 or 2 horses. I want to add something for a little extra stability when hauling on the highway. Is this hitch appropriate for my needs?
