It sure is Sean! The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC System w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat item # FR69TD will connect right to your Winnebago's existing wiring for both the power supply and the thermostat. You won't need an new harnesses or have to run additional wiring.

The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC System item # FR69TD comes with everything you'll need to replace your Winnebago's AC System. This kit includes the 18k Chill Cube AC Unit, a air distribution box with controls orientated for ducted setups, a remote to adjust the settings, and a thermostat.

We also have this system with a black AC Unit. It's the Furrion Chill Cube Variable Speed RV AC System item # FR49TD.

What kind of climates do you typically camp in? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Hi Jerred, We mostly travel in hot weather, Florida, Texas. Also the unit in the Winnebago is very loud, looking for something quiet.

Sean, I replaced the Dometic ducted AC in my 5th wheel camper and it was easy other than the T stat had a feedback wire that now gives me an Error E1 on old shared T stat and the furnace won’t work, but we don’t camp in cold weather so I can get a stand alone T stat for furnace. Also added a second ChillCube 18k in the bedroom that was pre wired I’m very pleased with the performance of these variable speed compressors units. Very quiet, energy efficient too. They have a Dehumidifier mode and I can run both in Dehumidifier mode on a 15 amp circuit extension cord in my driveway and it cools and won’t trip breaker. I use the hand held remote with the Following Me button for the thermostats on both. Don’t always use both except on really hot sunny days. You can hang meat in there. The only thing I didn’t realize is that the unit will run continuously but at low power when satisfied. So quiet that you don’t really notice. My old AC was so loud you couldn’t hear the tv…I would recommend and buy again. Hope this helps. Used an extension ladder as a ramp to get AC on top of camper by myself.

@SeanL You're going to like the humidity control setting on the Furrion Chill Cube RV AC System item # FR69TD. It works similar to a dehumidifier and does a great job removing all that moisture from the air. This system on it's highest setting has a 60 decibel rating. So it's comparable to the volume of a normal conversation.

@SeanL I replaced my noisy power hungry too small 13500 5 year old mach 3 in my 30’ grand design fifth wheel best thing I ever did. I wouldn’t call it plug and play almost there is some wiring that is very straight forward and easy and duct work that must be tapped up I didn’t use the wall thermostat and the factory one for me operates the furnace and is not compatible. I protected lot thermostat wires from shirts and the remote control has a built in thermostat. Just keep it away from cool discharge of ac makes it fast simple install I hang the remote where the old thermostat is it comes on very slow and quiet uses very low amps and for the first time in over 100 degree temps I can have entire trailer comfy temps it will remove 20 degrees in under an hour and quiet inside and out. It’s best to run through ducts as the exit air and return are so close. I camp Arizona Texas as well. It can to me in Utah on one day very well packaged and no issues. The wall t stat just was not worth adding and I am an HVAC tech. Hope this helps.

I installed the Furrion Chill cube on my Grand Design 5th wheel at the beginning of the summer. Just mount it on the roof, feed it power, and use the controls on the unit. It uses half the electricity of the Coleman it replaced. About 6.5 amps on high.
