Hi there, I need a mount for a 2024 Mustang Mach E. Could you make a recommendation? I have the bike rack. I just need the hitch mount. I’m carrying an E bike and a regular bike.

I'd be happy to Dane. To add a hitch to your 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E, I recommend the Curt item # C77ER.

The Curt item # C77ER is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation and looks great once it's all set up. I really like this hitch because once it's installed all you see is the 2" receiver sticking out below your bumper trim.

If your bike rack has lights, you'll also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C38MJ.

The Mach-E hitch that I know is a very solid hitch. It mounted easily and rides w/o twisting or wobbling. The one I bought is the 2” size, which seems appropriate for the load you’ll be giving it. It should work fine! Have fun

Dane, I recently installed the Curt receiver hitch on my 2021 Mach e. It was fairly easy (I've installed quite a receiver hitches in my life). Just a couple of tips. First, as the instructions say, thread the wire through the bolt hole, then out the access hole and then put the bolt into the wire. Much easier than trying to go from the access hole to the bolt hole. Second, you will need to cut away part of the plastic to make room for the hitch to come out. Put painters tape down and measure and mark on it. It's a little tricky, because if nothing is quite square, but take your time and you'll get it. Cut it with a vibratory multi-tool. Third, the nut plates are not long enough to hit the sides of the channel that they're going in (as all my other receiver hitches were). The trick is, to pull down on the nut as you are putting it onto the bolt. It works fine as soon as it snugs up because the friction keeps that plate in place. Finally, don't forget to replug in your sensors like I did!! I about wet my pants when I saw all the alarms on the dashboard!
