Availability of Adapter for Mounting Older PullRite in 2026 Silverado 2500 With Prep Package

Updated 08/12/2026 | Published 08/06/2026

Question:

Hi: I have an older Pullrite 20.5K Hitch with pullrite underbed removable pins and rails to fit on pins that I want to move from my 2009 chev 2500 long bed to a 2026 2500 standard bed with puck system - can you recommend an adapter for the pucks - will that work in a standard bed Q2: would a pullrite 2915 work in a 2026 chev?

Hey Daniel, congratulations on the new truck! It sounds like you have the old PullRite SuperGlide 4400 that fits their proprietary rails. To use it in your 2026 Silverado you will need the PullRite Adapter Kit # PUL98VR along with the Adapter Rails # C88KR. The PullRite adapter allows you to mount the 5th wheel hitch on ISR rails, and the Curt adapter adds ISR rails to your puck system.

The 2915 is designed to fit 2016-2019 GM Trucks. If you want the SuperGlide designed to fit your truck with the 6-3/4' bed it is the PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GM Factory Prep Package # PUL83RR.

What kind of 5th wheel are you towing?

Great reply Robin - however I should have given you better information: The hitch I am removing from my old 2009 Chev 2500 8Ft. bed truck is the Pullrite non- slider part # 0800 20.5 K Hitch. So My new question is there an adapter rail kit that fits my 2026 chev 2500 standard bed (6.8 ft) that the Pullrite #0800 hitch would attach to? I am aware tht I would have to do some carteful measuring to see if my fifth wheel would hit the cab of my truck in this comfiguration. so knowning the demensions of any adapter kit would be a great benefit. Thanks

@DanielB not a problem. The #0800 also used the traditional series rails like the 4400. Unfortunately, they don't have an adapter to match it up with ISR rails like that SuperGlide. Even if you could find a way to make it work, I don't think it would be worth the investment on top of the potential clearance issues for an obsolete hitch. If you want my opinion, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3775 would be the best option for your new truck. This is a really high quality hitch that will save you some money over a SuperGlide. Most of our feedback from customers is that they don't need the slider often, but when they do, they're glad they have it.
