Will the Curt Rambler Tow Bar pn C25DQ Work with blue ox baseplates on a new flat tow?

It sure will Jeff! The new Curt Rambler Non-Binding Tow Bar item # C25DQ is indeed compatible with all Blue Ox base plates not just the new ones. This tow bar has a 7,500 lbs capacity and fits a 2" hitch receiver. The Rambler Tow Bar includes 84" long coiled safety cables and weighs only 38 lbs. It has non-binding latches and uses an automatic locking feature for easy hookup.

I saw you were looking at flat tow parts for a 2026 Ford Maverick. Here's the ones I recommend using for flat towing:

Baseplate Kit - Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - item # BLU94ER

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267.

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

Charge Line - Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit for Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking Systems item # DM66VR. This is the easiest and least expensive way to add the required charge line because it routes through the Demco item # SM99251 or item # SM99243.
