2004 vm boat trailer with Atwood 10 drum brakes...bolt pattern 2 7/8. Need to replace single right side assembly. Old leaking...old. let me know best options...thanks!!!

Welcome back Darren, and thanks for the information! To replace your boat trailer's right brake assembly, I recommend the Hydraulic Trailer Brake Assembly item # AKFBBRK-35R-D.

The Hydraulic Drum Brake Assembly item # AKFBBRK-35R-D is designed to fit a four bolt brake flange with the bolt holes spaced 2-7/8" apart on center. This replaces the right side assembly only. This is a 10" diameter x 2-1/4" thick galvanized hydraulic free backing brake assembly with a 3,500 lbs capacity. It'll work great as a replacement for your Atwood brake.

If you ever need to replace the left side assembly the item # AKFBBRK-35L-D will be the correct one. For replacement hardware you can use item # 6-17 for the nut and item # 5-8 for the lock washer. You would need a total of 4 of each of these hardware items for a single brake assembly.
